The good stuff
never powered down.
A Flint-area club for 90s PCs, 8-bit, Mac, and XP-era. For the glow of a CRT, a blinking DOS cursor, and whatever comes next.
Basements full of beige. Living rooms welcome, too.

Your people.
Your kind of obsolete.
If you can hear CANYON.MID just by reading the filename, you’ll probably feel at home here.
We’re the Mid-Michigan Retro Computer Club, founded as a private Facebook group in 2019 and based in the Flint area. We like beige towers stacked to the ceiling, another round of Doom, and a machine that still has something to teach us.
90s PCs are at the heart of it. Bring your interest in 8-bit machines, Macs, XP-era systems, and everything in between.
A local clubhouse
Membership is limited to Michigan residents and special guests. Request to join our private Facebook group to talk hardware, share projects, and make plans.
Old machines. New friends.
We occupy space at quarterly SEMVCC meets for LAN parties or other displays. Members also host private LAN parties and gatherings around focused topics.
There’s always another project
A restoration, a new bit of code, or a BIOS for a thirty-year-old PC. Share what’s on your workbench with the club.
No dress code. Probably a spare VGA cable.
A blinking cursor.
Endless possibilities.
Pull up a chair. There’s always room for one more computer person.
